These inputs power features such as fall detection, exertion indicators, oxygen-level trends, temperature signals, and elevation awareness.

Data is processed on-device to generate indicators and events. Raw biometric data is not transmitted off the device.

IP69K is one of the highest ingress protection ratings, indicating resistance to fine dust and high-pressure water exposure.

Short, sharp impacts that simulate drops, knocks, and sudden force. Passing means the device can take a hit without cracked internals or surprise shutdowns.

Vibration

Hours of vibration similar to trucks, heavy machinery, and power tools. Components must stay seated, connections stay stable, and performance remains consistent.

Dust & particulates

Fine dust is pushed against seams and openings under pressure. The electronics must remain protected, with no ingress that would compromise function over time.

Moisture & humidity

Cycles of rain, splashes, and high humidity. The device is checked for corrosion, leaks, and functional issues after exposure.

Temperature extremes

High and low operating temperatures, plus rapid transitions between them. Sentinel must stay operational across the range typical of outdoor and industrial environments.

Handling & wear

Repeated flexing, contact, and everyday handling over extended cycles. This reflects long-term use rather than a single bad day.
